WWWE LogoTopic:

<NEXTID> Next document

Definition:

This is an obsoleted tag, you should not use this tag in your HTML documents.

Indicates the "next" document that follows current, to permit HTML documents to be chained together.

Attributes:

N = "URL"

The Uniform Resource Locator for the next document in the series.

Context:

<NEXTID> is legal only within the <HEAD> ... </HEAD> tags.

As a singleton tag, <NEXTID> permits no enclosed markup.

Suggested style/usage:

<NEXTID> is usually placed by HTML authoring tools, but can be added manually to tell a robot (or an attentive human reader) what document comes next in this series, if any.
